Myanma Awba believes that if the farmer is not successful, neither is the group.
In order to demonstrate our appreciation of all growers who make such an important contribution to our nation, the group is actively engaged in donation activities for the improvement of rural and farming communities. Every year the company supports improvement to rural infrastructure including, for example: roads, bridges, local clinics, community vehicles, water pumps, wells and water storage facilities. We also donate transformers and generators in remote villages where electricity is not readily available.
The group also takes an active role in humanitarian disaster relief. In the aftermath of events such as Cyclone Nargis (2008) and Cyclone Komen floods (2015), the company led rehabilitation efforts in remote areas and donated several hundreds of thousands of dollars.
