Following our previous statement, Myanmar Awba Industry Company Limited (MAIC) stopped its operations in Ngwe Pin Lae Industrial Zone, managed by MEHL, and moved to Shwe Lin Ban Sethmu Myo Industrial Zone on land owned by the Department of Urban and Housing Development.

This new location will enable us to serve our clients and partners better, reduce the time for loading and offloading goods, and enhance our operations’ safety with more space available for logistics activities, truck parking spaces, etc.

We also ensured that the relocation did not impact our 230+ staff and 215 contractors working for MAIC.

With this new industrial site, we will continue to provide Myanmar’s farmers with affordable and high-quality agri-products.

This decision reflects MAIC’s and Myanma Awba’s willingness to conduct their business responsibly.
